Japanese Pork and Potato Bowl

Ingredients: - 1 lb pork loin, sliced into thin strips - 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced - 1 cup uncooked white rice - 1/4 cup soy sauce - 2 tbsp mirin - 2 tbsp sake - 1 tbsp sugar - 1 tbsp vegetable oil - 1/4 cup chopped green onions - 1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions: 1. Cook the rice according to package instructions. 2. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar. Set aside. 3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced pork and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside. 4. Add the diced potatoes to the same skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and tender. 5. Add the cooked pork back to the skillet with the potatoes. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the top and stir to coat everything evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly. 6. To serve, divide the cooked rice among four bowls. Top each bowl with the pork and potato mixture. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Nutritional Information (per serving): - Calories: 198 - Protein: 30g - Fat: 5g
